This Privacy Policy explains how Freezer Genie (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Freezer Genie mobile app (the “App”).

- Photos / camera data (optional): If you choose to use camera features (for example, adding a photo to an item), the App will request camera permission. Photos are only captured/selected when you take that action.
- Device and usage data: Basic technical information such as device model, OS version, app version, and approximate usage events (for example, screens opened, feature interactions).
- Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data to help us fix bugs and improve reliability.
How we use information
- Provide the App: create and manage your inventory, sync data across devices, and keep you signed in.
- Improve and secure: troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and improve performance and features.
- Communicate: respond to support requests and service-related messages.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in limited cases:

Permissions
The App may request permissions such as Camera so you can take item photos. You can control
permissions in your device settings. If you deny a permission, related features may not work.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes (for example, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements).
Your choices
- Access / deletion: You can request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us at the email below.
- Permissions: You can revoke permissions (like Camera) at any time in device settings.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice as required by law.
